Please be specific, which version of Dolphin are you using? I am not using 5.0, I am using 5.0-11077. Even small updates can sometimes cause regressions

I assume you downloaded the game from here? What format is it in, .nkit.iso or .wbfs? .nkit.iso is known to sometimes cause issues and can be fixed by converting it to .iso

You can convert it by using NKit 1.4 + Wii Partitions

Im using Dolphin 5.0 as you are. I have yet to have this issue with any other game however i haven't played many games because I hopped onto the emulation scene recently to keep myself entertained in quarantine. So far brawl is the first wii game ive tried. Ill try more games to see what happens and get back to you.
