Why is download speed so slow

Like im downloading mario galaxy rom because my disc is not working anymore and this site has the only wbfs files and it takes 7 hours? i know server upkeep is huge but common mate. if youre that dedicated to the classics why dont you take a day off to update the server? my download speed from internet is 4 megabits a second and i can download 4 gb files from google drive in less then 20 minutes but 7 hours? common
