Which version of Dolphin are you using and what format are the games in?

I just started messing with emulators today and i downloaded a bunch of game cube games on dolphin with no issue but when i download wii games they just send me to a black screen and i cant close dolphin or the tab of the game without completely restaring my pc. I tried this with 2 games so i dont really know what to do if anyone can help itd be appreciated.
