Maybe you have too much data on your Chromebook and maybe that's why it can't download that much data.
My advice to you is that you check how much data you have on your hard drive and see if you have too much to download or not.

When downloading SMG it would mysteriously stop while downloading, making no progress at all, even on my chromebook it would go to 0 bytes per second, I get it's a large amount of data but this didn't happen when I downloaded other roms from this site, even Wii Sports Suffered a similar fate
