Wii roms not downloading

I have been having an issue when trying to download any wii rom, one that I have not encountered with any other type of rom. essentially, whenever I download a wii rom the download will start, but will be Much slower than any other download, and then after it downloads about 0.3 GB of the file, it will stop and say "server error".
