Hey! A decent scanner is definitely the way to go. You don't need anything insanely high end, you should be able to find something for around $30 or so on eBay. Try to get something that supports up to 1200 DPI, as these will often have good quality 300 DPI color scans (what is needed to upload to VIMM). I use the free software NAPS2 which supports most scanner drivers, and has some decent batch scan options. Best of luck!
