1. The game you describe sounds closest to "Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure", if I have the title right. Pretty high-quality stuff. Haven't checked out all the Genesis games, though.
2. First Genesis recommendation: There's a platform-type of game whose game engine gives the genre a whole new dimension. It's called "The Adventures of Batman and Robin". The music blows out the butt, but the gameplay, graphics, animation, and graphics rule.
3. Four games where the Genesis version kicks the SNES version's butt (Hm, I'm using the word "Butt" a lot in this post) are Earthworm Jim I and II, The Immortal (Oh, wait - that's compared to any other version), and Zero the Kimakaze Squirrel. "Zero" was one of the two games that got me so interested in the Genesis in the first place (The other was Vectorman).

Sorry to folks who think this post really doesn't sound like the typical Tricob. When I talk about the Genesis, I sort of take on a whole new personality. :-/
