Well, the reason the 10-hour shift is a problem here is that the shift would begin at 6 A.M., and end at 4:30 P.M.. Half the employees can't get to work before 7:15; their transportation won't bring them there earlier. Some folks can't even get here before 8:00 in the morning. So that's two hours of each day already shot.

Second, some folks here have to leave at 3:30 P.M. or later because their transportation won't pick them up later. This means the second half of the line keeps running out of work because the first half line has gone home. On the 8-hour shift, we did 7 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. five days a week, so it wasn't a problem.

The department needs to get a certain quota out before the end of the year, or the contract is void, and everyone is out of the job. That's how an assembly line works.

We're now falling behind because of the 10-hour shift. It's not working.

I like the 10 hour-a-day week myself. Gives you three whole days to lay around playing videogames and smoking pot (jk)

I hate people that too stupid to work. Being punctual is tough though,
I am lucky that I work alone and at the hours of my choosing. Yeah, it's a sweet gig.

Stupid stuff let's see... let's see I tried to install the newest Catalyst drivers from ATI but CCC won't run. It says I need at least version 2 of .net framework. Anyway my brother couldn't find the Catalyst Control Center icon on the desktop and he asked me "wheres the catalytic converter?" That was pretty stupid.
