"Farmer kills Huntsville Utilities representative over $13 water bill; escapes on lawn mower"

An article like this certainly warrants an interesting explanation. It was said that the farmer complained to the representative that the bill was "outrageously high" and purposely killed the guy on the spot. With what I can't remember. But I do remember that a guy questioned about this incident said, "He got on his riding mower after killing the Utilities representative, and it wasn't until hours later that anyone found out what had happened. The farmer was long gone by then, so that explains how he got away on a riding mower so easily. But killing someone over a $13 water bill? That doesn't make sense."

Seems to me like the farmer was steamed about something else entirely, and took it out on the Utilities representative.

Anyway, the article's several years old, but it popped up in my head again sometime today, and I thought it'd make interesting reading.
