Need more info

When you say fake do you mean bootleg/pirate/hack or more like rip-off or clone? I mean, there are hundreds of silly Pokemon hacks so I probably would never find the right one. If it's more like a knock-off, the Robopon series comes to mind. You get robot creatures and fight other robot creatures and try to collect them all for some reason or whatever. I think one of them was released in the US.

My mother bought me a fake Pokemon 2000 from Thailand about 1999 around.. it was not Pokemon, but it was way better.. but it was japenese and the maincharacter lived in a small town near a big tower and you got a robot pet.. like a big robo cheetah with mounted machineguns.. then you get into the tower and had to fight with other robo creatures, which dropped equipment for your robo cheetah.. on some point it freezed and a i trashed it
