What makes it rather confusing is when there are all-English ROMs from Japan ... which were never released in America, like the first Dig Dug game. A lot of these games actually appeared later on systems like "Power Games", which did get released in North America.

Vimm occasionally adds translated games and their Japanese originals, but other than that the Vault is strickly US releases only, with a complete collection based on the NESTools lists (I think). That's why the most requested games are usually European exclusives like Terranigma for the SNES.
