There's only ever been one Blockbuster in my city, and it shut its doors during Netflix's peak. Irritatingly enough, Netflix crashed and nearly burned less than a week after the Blockbuster place folded. In all honesty, I'm incredibly amazed that Netflix is still alive at this point in time.

I once had several Blockbusters nearby since they assimilated all the competition. Now there's only one left and it's half its original size. I still use it now and then for a game or a blu-ray. Netflix is great for movies circa 2006, but if you want something new, and HD, Blockbuster is still a reliable choice.
