Unless I'm missing something, it looks like a simple problem. It looks like you're trying to run the file without decompressing it. The files here are compressed to save space. 7z is a compressed format associated with the program 7zip. Download 7zip, and then open the mario kart wii 7z file with it. Inside, you should see a 2 files. A note from Vimms, which can be discarded, and a file named Mario Kart Wii.wbfs which is the one you want. Put Mario Kart Wii.wbfs into Dolphins game folder. That should get things working.

Hi, I downloaded the Wii Emulator Dolphin and the Mario Kart Wii ROM but was not able to run it. Was not sure if it just doesn't work or if I was doing something wrong?
