Not much info to work off of so I'm guessing you've done something with the emulator that makes it not want to play said ROMs.
Actually now it is several that I download today. Most of the popular n64 games, Mario games, Pokemon games as well as super smash. I have never had an issue this bad. But it seems like almost every download fails to play? Something must be going on!
