I was always curious about this game when I was a kid and now that I've had a chance to play it, I'm glad I never wasted my weekend rental allowance on it.

Graphics: 7
The sprites in game look decent, but the animation is shoddy at best. Some of the character designs are also extremely cliche and blatantly stupid. Now, I know those is supposed to be a more kiddy oriented game, but a character named "Dhali Llama" that is actually a spitting llama, is a bit much for me.

Sound: 5
Not memorable in anyway. The music isn't so bad that's it's annoying, but the same oriental "dink-dada-dink" drones on and on throughtout the entire thing.

Gameplay: 4
The gameplay is, in a word, pretty awful. The controls a remarkably bad. Moves execute full seconds after the keys have been pressed, and it gets worse. The hit-detection and blocking system of the game engine is just piss poor. The computer opponents pull of insanely cheap hits, often slamming you into a corner and not letting you get up. In a game like street fighter, you could take the aggressive opponent down with a sweep-kick or a throw, but those options are absent here. I was literally beaten to a pulp by an early enemy without even being able to get one attack off. You can overcome this by being cheap yourself, but this is hard considering the god awful controls. Several characters also have moves that absolutely cannot be blocked. The Lion character, I've forgotten the name, slams a cliche guitar from nowhere and take damage from the sound waves, whereever you are, and no matter if you are blocking. And, the boss character is so ridiculously cheap, you'll be pulling your hair out if you're actually taking this game seriously. His special attacks are completely unblockable, and if you do manage to damage him, he'll continuously use his ultra taunt attack (taunting in this game regains you a slight portion of health, but you have to do the full animation). His taunt attack gives him a full quarter of his health back, and no matter how quickly you hit him, he always get the full amount.

Overall: 4
Overall, this game feels like it was thrown together in about a weekend by a couple of dorks in a garage looking to cash in on the Street Fighter craze. The controls are very loose, and the characters are poorly designed and unbalanced. I don't recommend this game.
