As the world record holder of the "Pass the Pigs: Let the Good Swines Roll!" World Tour Any% Speed run, I think if anyone is qualified to review this game, it would be me. I have over 12 hours on this game, perfecting my scores, and trying my hardest to beat it as quickly as possible (Though even now, there are flaws in my run).
This game is honestly insanely fun, very addictive, and a lost gem in the NDS library.

Honestly and obviously, this game's graphics are nothing special, but definitely deserves some credit for the work put in. The pigs themselves and the boards behind them when thrown are pretty mediocre. With a lack of lighting and no real interaction between the pigs and the background, it leaves a lot to be desired. However, it gets the job done. However, the character and location art is honestly quite nice, The characters all have their own charms, and the locations they're stationed in are often very fitting to the country of origin. The pictures painted by the scenery and character sprites add a neat environment to the game. The art for the title screen and upgrades screen also deserves recognition, though it again isn't particularly special (besides the dancing pigs, I do like the dancing pigs).

Sound: 4
The sound design in this game can be described in one word: repetitive. Every song and every sound effect plays over and over and over again until it's either scraping your eardrums or getting stuck in your head. In some circumstances, a song stuck in your head wouldn't be a bad thing, however in this game every song sounds like it came straight from an elevator or hotel lobby, and as such is incredibly draining to listen to.

Pass the Pigs is a game as old as time, truly it is incredibly fun. The high highs, low lows, risk and reward mechanics are incredibly anxiety inducing and overall very entertaining. I could not put this game down when I first started playing it, and to this day I revisit it time and time again when I'm looking for some quick fun.

Overall: 9
This game is insanely fun, and not completely horrible to look at. I enjoyed playing it, and will continue to enjoy it until the end of time.

I'd highly recommend you all play it at least once, and would even incentivize you to try and beat my best time!
