I remember the first time I played Joshua on the NES. When I first saw it, I thought ""What kind of a game is this?"" Sure, I’m stretching the ratings for graphics and sound a little – or maybe a lot. Still, when you really get into this game, you don’t even notice that the graphics and sound are second-class. This game really surprised me once I started to play it. This is the one of the best puzzle/strategy games that the NES has to offer. It has many, many levels (probably about 100) and when you get into the higher levels they really make you think. In every level, you must lead Joshua around and find 5 hidden 'faces', which become questions at the end of the level. Once you have all 5, and have collected a set amount of money, a door will open up, and you can finish the level. (Note that this game is played from a bird's eye view.) Plus you sometimes can use a limited amount of explosives, and you must figure out where to place them so that you will beat the level. Don’t judge Joshua for the graphics or sound and be turned away from this game. If you like thinking games, then give yourself a challenge and try to beat every level!
