For those who don't know, ""Road Runner"" is not an original NES release. It's actually a port of an older game of the same title, released about 1982 or
1983. It was released on older game consoles such as the Atari 2600.

As you've probably guessed, the game is based on the Road Runner cartoons from Warner Bros. that, decades ago, preceded movies in theaters. Games like
this (along with ""E.T."" and ""Superman"") were blamed for - if I have the title correct - ""The Great Video Game Crash of 1983"".

This particular game involves moving your Road Runner to catch as much birdseed as possible, avoiding collisions with incoming cars and trucks, and
trying to avoid being caught by the coyote.

The NES port is the best I've seen so far, as it has the best graphics and animation.

The problem here is that the entertainment value is quite limited. The gameplay doesn't have enough variety to keep the player interested for even an
hour. After less than thirty minutes of playing (including the time it took me to figure the game out), I myself was ready to move on to something else.

I'd recommend giving this a play just to satisfy your curiosity, and I'm not telling you to avoid downloading it. I'm just saying that if you decide to
try it out, don't expect anything special.
