This is one of the earliest Mario games ever made, and it doesn't dissapoint. The goal of this game is to break all the bricks/ladders or whatever a monster gets you, and it gets tougher and tougher every level.

Graphics: 7
The graphics are acceptable, hell, this was made in 1982 so the graphics were way above average for me. It's kind of intriguing to see what the early Mario looks like. He's a lot shorter and fatter too.

Sound: 10
The music is great. It has this jubiliant and mercurial touch to it, but all Mario game music are like this, and I love it.

Gameplay: 4
Since Mario is very slow and he can't jump, I can't give this a high score. And if you mess up or do something wrong during a level, it's all over, you have to die purposely or start over.

Overall: 7
It's a very fun game, it might seem a little childish in the beginning but it really gets tougher later on.

Buy it, it's worth it.
