I never reveal personal information on the internet but there's many who do. I've been meaning to change that field to a dropdown and add X to the list. Done!
The best recommendation I can give you is to remove the gender section entirely & switch it to pronouns for ease of conversation.
A decent recommendation I can give is to leave it, but allow people to answer more than just M or F. (M, F, X, etc....)
The most "meh" recommendation I can give is to remove it entirely. What is gained by this info?
Source -- I ain't got a gender. Very odd to ask me to pick between two alphabet letters.
