well, the SD card i use is only 2GB, and including all the stuff i have in homebrew channel, there's only like 1GB of empty space. so im downloading it to my USB.
On Wii, it's not emulation, since the Wii has Gamecube hardware built into the motherboard which GC games run on.
I don't remember having to do anything with IDs using Nintendont. If that's what you're using, you should be fine just putting the ISOs on an SD card as-is.
