Help with Mgs HD and Tekken 6 on ps3

I have cfw latest release of evilnat on ps3 and I got the Tekkan 6 game from here but due to fat32 limitations I had to split 1 of the files using split4g app. I can transfer it to a usb hdd now that is fat32 and the ps3 detects it and loads it, I get the Namco logo and other devs but then just a blank screen. I suspect because 1 of the files is split. Is there a way to fix this or get it copied to the ps3 without splitting it?


Also with the Metal gear solid HD collection each game gets stuck on Checking hard drive prompt when it first boots up, the konami logo etc loads and gets passed it but the checking hdd part it just freezes, I can quit out of the game but same issue. I also tried the same mgs2hd, mgspwhd and mgs3hd games from the metal gear legacy collection and they also produce the same issue, I also have the game original discs and they too get stuck on the check hdd prompt. Anyone found a way to get this working?
