It's probably saved in either the folder the EXE is, or whatever folder has the ROM or ISO. Check subfolders of these if you don't find anything.
You can check the Properties of each folder by right-clicking in an empty space in the list of files, and selecting "Properties". Different OSs lay out the "right-click" menu different ways, but any way it goes, I doubt the "Properties" option will be too hard to locate. :-)
The Properties box should have a "read-only" checkbox in its window. You'll usually find it near the bottom.
