I'm unable to replicate this problem on my end. Clicking the letters is working fine for me. I have checked this in both Chrome and Firefox.
Check your filter settings and tell me what they're set for.

I noticed the NES vault is not listing games when looking by letter. You can advanced search for them, but they are not listed under the respective first letter.
