| Pokemon: Fire Red is a remake of Pokemon Red, the first Pokemon game.
Graphics: 8 The graphics are very good for their time. It has some phenomenally looking pixel art. The Pokemon sprites are especially good. Sound: 6 The graphics are pretty average. It isn't good but not bad either. It doesn't really affect my overall impression of the game because there is hardly anything to talk about. Gameplay: 10 This game had me addicted for a very long time. It has a surprising amount of gameplay for a GBA game. It has 20+ hours of gameplay and it is very fun for every minute of it. I highly recommend you play this game. Overall: 9 This game is a worthy replacement for playing the OG game on Gameboy. The graphics are better yet everything is still faithful to the original. The sound is better than the original as well but is average for a GBA game. The gameplay is still the same as all Pokemon games before it so you know it will be a great game. |
