You can still use some exploits, namel the Pokémon picross one, you just had to have had the game before the shop shut down

Modding your 3ds is worth it if you haven't updated to the most current firmware. Unfortunately Naytendo has patched the most recent exploit. If you havent updated then id suggest modding it
