How much RAM do you have? Scanning a large download like that might be using up all your memory.
You can try a different browser and see if that helps, or try disabling Chrome's virus scan.
You can also try running a memory test to see if your RAM is failing; sometimes it only becomes apparent when you max out your RAM on large files.
It could also be an issue with swap memory on your hard disk, you can run a disk scan to make sure you don't have any corruption or bad sectors.

Every time I try to download either KH1.5 or KH2.5 from the PS3 list, the download will crash my computer once it finishes the download and begins verifying it. (I assume that's what's happening as it just stays on okbs/19.5gb for a while with the download ring staying solid.) Should I use a different browser as I'm using Chrome, or is there a problem with the file itself?
