Pirating any video games is illegal, unless they're abandonware (developer and publisher are both defunct and nobody now owns it), or it's been released for free by the developers or publisher.
Morally, you should avoid pirating current systems, but stuff no longer being sold is OK. That's why Vimm's Lair only has systems two generations old or older. No Switch, Wii U, 3DS, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series S/X.

I mean, probably, but pirating switch games is illegal so you can get fined for downloading if you arent using like a vpn and torrenting
