JB stands for jailbreak and was created as a file format for playing games on jailbroken PS3 systems straight from the hard drive. JB can be played on emulators without issue.
Dec stands for decrypted and refers to an ISO that was decrypted by ripping it from disc using a modded PS3 or by using a software tool to decrypt a previously encrypted ISO. These can also be played on emulators without issue.
There should be no difference between the two for emulation, the difference only matters if you're using real hardware to play the game.

What is JB folder, and dec.iso? is the jb folder ready to emulate on ps3 emulator? what about dec.iso then
