Yes, apparently there was a DMCA notice from Nintendo (or some proxy of Nintendo) complaining about those games. But after some research Vimm came to the conclusion that the notice was probably the result of an image-scanning AI crawler ordered by Nintendo which had reacted specifically to the box arts of the games.
So, for now at least, the games are back up, but all box-art/screenshots have been removed.

A few days ago I noticed that some Nintendo games were gone, (Specifically those with the name Mario, Zelda, Link, and Metroid in the title) with the message "Download, box art, and screen shots unavailable at the request of Nintendo of America". But now those games are back?
