You might try a different emulator, but keep in mind that not all N64 games can be properly emulated just yet. N64 emulation hasn't been around as SNES and NES emulation has; it still has some evolving to do. :-(

F-Zero X crashes every time i play i when i start the second stage as captain falcon in the jack cup. the race opens fine, but when you're about to take off it freezes and forces me to reset my computer.
