It's a compressed file. You need something to unzip it, WinRAR and 7zip are probably the most popular ones (I recommend 7zip)

I use RetroArch for all my games, and all games I have come from here. I have no trouble at all with any of the GameBoy games and with a little tweaking I can get the DS games somewhat working, but any .7z file just won't work for me. Any way to fix this issue?
