GBA-Low Quality Audio

On some of the GBA games (WarioWare: Mega Microgame$, The Sims 2) played on the MyBoy emulator, I get popping sounds with its default sound frequency (44100 hz). Does anyone know if it is an issue with the game files, or the emulator?
