To clarify: I uninstalled the Dolphin emulator on my phone and reinstalled it, because no update was available thru Google Play. Could perhaps uninstalling the game and doing a reinstall provide a fix? Also, please post the link to dolphin wiki. All I found was the history of it's release/versions on Wikipedia.

This is from the dolphin wiki. If you ever have problems with a game, please check there first. A lot of the time you can usually find your exact error with a fix or an alternative.
Either way, you need to update Dolphin most likely.
