Re: Why is Dead Space 3 classified as a beta?

I tested the game dump from the Vault, and it seems to work as if it were a normal version of Dead Space 3. It even accepts updates (there was a version 1.02 available before launching the game). Is this really a beta of the game? I guess the only way to find out is with the original disc.

I noticed that in the PS3 vault the file for Dead Space 3 is named "Dead Space 3 (USA) (Beta)." I'm assuming this is Redump's naming scheme, but why exactly is the dump considered a beta? Is it a pre-release build of the game with debug, or something else?
