I run a Linux-based OS, and it comes with a Windows emulator called WINE. For all the older Windows releases you speak of, most of them work fine on WINE. I'd say make a boot disk of Linux Mint and boot from that, then run your Windows game from there. You don't have to install the OS unless you just want to.

I'm a total noob when it comes to emulation but I wanted to play some games that I played in the 90s and can't find them on Steam or anything. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks a million!
