My first question is, have you followed the directions of the quick start guide? (it sounds like you at least gave it a once over because you have installed the firmware, but its always good to confirm)
My next question is, are you extracting the 7z file? RPCS3 cannot load games directly from an archive, so you need to extract it. Once extracted, you should be able to boot into the game by either opening the folder containing "PS3_GAME" and "PS3_DISC.SFB", or installing the pkg files depending on the format of the game (I believe in your case you will have folders and not pkg files)
Two important things to note: RPCS3 currently lists pretty much every MGS game as "ingame" (Games that either can't be finished, have serious glitches or have insufficient performance.) Also, this website only has a download for disc 2, so you will need to find disc 1 elsewhere

Hey guys, on my pc, the ps3 emulator (RPC3) won't allow itself to process the MGS legacy collection. I have updated the firmware and attempted to download the currently available version of the game off this website, but it won't do anything after I try. I've redownloaded the game twice now and it still doesn't work. For reference, the file keeps forming into a .7z, so if that helps, please help me
