A good example is Super Mario Advance 4.
The Virtual Console adds all of the previously E-Reader exclusive levels to the vanilla game. (Although I don't remember how they're accessed.)

Those are the versions of the GBA games sold on Nintendo's Virtual Console service. Some of them differed slightly from their original releases, fixing bugs or changing content.
