Vimm basically confirmed it was a troll. That's why the removal list seems so irrational.

Ok so Nintendo has decided to be a pain and ask for some games to be removed, but some of which, aren’t even owned by them, Thise are the Mario and Sonic Olympic Games titles, As they aren’t owned by Nintendo, They are actually owned by Sega, So to be Removed, The request must be from Sega, Nintendo can’t actually do anything about it.
