I remember it had some connection with Pokemon Gold and Silver. The original Pokemon Pikachu didn't and wasn't in color. But you could use the color version to get free gifts in Gold and Silver. It was like a Tamagotchi or a Giga Pet.
I have a Pokémon Pikachu Color, which isn't exactly a Game Boy Color game, but a peripheral that contains its own game. Shouldn't this also be listed for uploading?
