Re: Why these companies gotta be like that?

Well it turns out the ESA were responsible to creating the ESRB rating system in the United States. They almost got nuked when it leaked that a Tiger Woods golf game on the PS-One had a secret episode of South Park on the disc that was uncut despite the Tiger Woods game being rated E for everyone. Parents lost their minds over it and EA had to immediately replace them all overnight. The ESA made the ESRB because of what happened in the 90s when Senator Liberman went after violent video games in congress and falsely accused games of being worse than they actually were and potentially harmful to children. Nintendo and Sega were dragged into it and despite Sega having their own rating system at the time, it was enough to turn a blind eye at Mortal Kombat and Night Trap of all things. lol But yeah. Times haven't changed at all. Makes me wonder what's gonna happen when Nintendo releases that "Emio" game. lol
Why Nintendo gotta make SO MANY games forever unplayable? And the others, too?? And since when was there an "Entertainment Software Association"? This is balls-
Seriously, why??
