What happens when you play it under a different emulator?

Hey Vimm, I think there might be something wrong with the Marvel Superheroes War of the Gems rom. After I beat a level and go back to level select it takes me back to the level select screen and i'm locked in that loop. It's possible it's my emulator, but haven't had an issue like this with any other game. Thanks in advance for your help.
