When you install it the wizard will ask you to put it in "C:\Program Files\SNES9x\". Don't do it. Install it in a folder on your desktop or a different HDD or something, somewhere other than your "Program Files" folder
Just an FYI Higan (formerly known as bsnes) is the best rated SNES emulator in regards to accuracy

everytime i try to run the Snes9x emulator a message appears: the file valid.ext could not be found or be created what should i do?
