Files installing as nkit and not wbfs

I've been having issues with downloading a majority of the games on here (mostly anything over 700MB) Everytime I click to download them as WBFS files they download as nkit and the issue is my computer doesn't read nkit and corrupts the files. I'm not sure why this happens, I've tried many sites, a couple of different programs to unzip them. (including 7Z and WinRAR) I have no issue downloading other times of roms, such as DSI, 3DS, and Wii games that are very small files. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can fix it?
