Re: Burning game to DVD to play on PS2

yes, it will work.
I can help you with your game backup to put it on a dvd disc.
make sure you have the following programs:
1.ESR disc patcher GUI v0.24a
2.SetupImgBurn_2.5.8.0.exe
The following items
1.dvd-r disc
2.dvd writer/burner

1.run ESR disc patcher.exe>patch>select the iso file>file patched succesfully
2.open the iso with IMGburn>make sure it detects the blank dvd-r
3.set write speed to 1X (slower for better burn quality)
click write button
wait and your done!

your freemcboot probably a copy of ESR click on that to launch the game or it might auto launch after flashing colors from memcard menu (normal)

ask for help with esr on freemcboot if you don't have it

I have a repro copy of Blood Will Tell (two actually) that works just fine, the only issue is that my PS2 is old as hell and doesn't read CD-ROMs only DVDs, I don't want to spend money on getting the laser serviced and I don't have the technical know-how to adjust the laser reader (I know there's YouTube videos but I just don't trust myself). I know it's not possible to burn content from a CD onto a DVD, so I was wondering if I could download the .iso for Blood Will Tell from here and then burn it to DVD to play on my PS2. I have Free McBoot that could run it.

Will this work?
