The part about liking the SNES9x interface was Maddox-style sarcasm. It sucks. It looks like a Windows 3.1 program, and that's pushing it. The ONLY reason to use SNES9x is to get past the opening in Marvelous, which freezes in ZSNES for some reason.

I agree with all the criticisms of snes9x (except maybe for the part about the interface--the comparison above seemed to undo the argument), but there are a few games which I can't get to play right on zsnes (which I use about 99% of the time). Equinox II, for instance, on zsnes; whenever my little guy picked up a treat like a potion or food or whatever, the game froze entirely. This doesn't happen when I play it on snes9x, but I do have to put up with some squint-making blurriness!
