Re: whats the best nes emulator to use?

There's no such thing as a perfect emulator and there likely never will be. Each emulator has achieved it's own level of accuracy, and each comes with different tools and accessories. Whichever emulator is the "best" is simply a matter of oppinion, especially when it comes to the NES. The Genesis is a little easier, and the SNES is barely a contest (ZSNES).

THey are worth the time. What I meant was you might run into a problem and need to find another emulatior. One that i ran into was between RockNES X and a couple of roms. (this is an emulator for NES). ONe thing is it doens't have the capacity to run the zapper gun games like Duck Hunt or Hogun's Alley. Another problem was it didn't run a few roms that I wanted to play so I had to get another emulator to solve this problem. If you want to play zapper games you have to get FCE Ultra which ran the roms that weren't working with RockNES X. I came across another problem with the SNES emulator SNES9X mainly cuase I did it. Apparently if you hit a button that isn't part of the control setup while hitting a button that is part of the controller setup you'll mess up the directional controls. So I found another emulator that was like SNES9x but wasn't and te rom that i had kind of broken on SNES9x was working again. Also the N64 emulator I have isn't working with a rom I downloaded but I don't know if any other N64 emulators would solve this problem yet. Basically if you run itno problems just ask and people will be willing to help you so long if you specifically ask wha the problme is you're experiencing. I"m sorry if you lead you to believe that emulators are a waste of time. I like them a lot and you can get games that you wouldn'g't be able to get because of them being from Japan and never being released here.
