I'm not sure what else can be done. Both versions of melonDS worked for me, 0.6 had some audio issues but that was it. And 7.1 worked fine and didn't freeze at all

Did you put the different versions in a different folder or did you just over write the existing files?

Hey, just tried 0.7.1, and I'm getting a different freeze, around the same part. Had the same problem on 0.6 as well.
