Animal Crossing was originally an N64 Japan only game, and because cartridges could barely hold anything, it had to be small.
The GameCube version is basically a port of the N64 version with translation and a few extra things, so it didn't take up much space.

i mean near every other GC game is at least around 100 MB it doesn't make sense can anyone explain
