Downloading ROMs to ipad

Hey guys. Question. If I download ROMs to an apple ipad, and then transfer them over to my google drive (to later download to my windows PC), does anyone know if that could cause any problems later down the road when I load them to my NES mini? Does it corrupt or compromise the files in anyway when I download them to my apple ipad first?
